Six weeks after I gave birth to my daughter, I noticed a lump behind my ear. I followed up with my OB/GYN and she took the initiative to inquire further and order testing.

Shortly after, it turned out to be metastatic thyroid cancer. Had it not been for her and the multiple providers that cared along the way, I would not be where I am today – free of cancer and thriving – as a mother, patient advocate, and founder of The Cancer Team.
